Managing Partner
Dr. David An
David is currently Managing Partner at Dracoon Ventures and a Venture Partner at Greenfield Capital. Previously, he held the position of Partner at Greenfield, where he was responsible for overseeing investments related to NFTs, GameFI, NFT Financialization, and Infrastructure.
Prior to that, David served as the global BD Director at Binance, focusing on NFT partnerships.
In addition to his roles in Web3, David has a strong background in the gaming sector. He was CEO at GameInfluencer, a leading influencer marketing agency in the games industry and secured triple A PC and mobile game titles as VP at Aeria Games.
During Web2, David demonstrated his expertise in product management as he led the team at WEBDE Club, the #1 premium online service in Germany. He also established himself as a successful startup entrepreneur by transforming Rumble Media from a mere concept to a profitable business.
David started his career at T-Venture, the corporate venture capital initiative of Deutsche Telekom. He holds a doctorate in organizational behavior from EBS in Oestrich-Winkel, an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, and an M.Sc. in Information Management from the University of Koblenz, all earned with distinction (magna cum laude).
He speaks fluent German, Korean, English and holds a third dan in Kendo.
Venture Partner
Josh Huang
Josh is currently Venture Partner at Dracoon Ventures. He is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of corporate strategy, consulting, and innovation expertise.
Prior to joining Dracoon Ventures, Josh worked as a Project Lead in Binance's CEO Office, managing large-scale strategic projects and business operations. He was instrumental in obtaining Binance's first two regulatory licenses in the UAE and Bahrain, as well as launching an industry-first zkSnark “Proof of Reserves” solution for the exchange.
Prior to joining Binance, Josh worked at Miral Asset Management, an Abu Dhabi government entity, where he worked on high-profile strategic and innovative projects, which were pivotal to transforming Miral's strategic narrative. Josh has also worked with Dubai's largest family office on business strategy and investment planning for the industrial conglomerate.
Josh passed all three levels of the CFA exam, has an M.A. in International Business from Hult International Business School, and a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine. He is fluent in English, and proficient in Mandarin. He has a family and spends the rest of his free time in the world of digital art.
